Automotive Industry Work

I help the automotive industry translate complex protection products, claims workflows, lender recovery processes, and operational systems into clearer digital experiences, training tools, and executive-ready communications that improve alignment, accuracy, and business performance.

State Farm Insurance

I was brought in by State Farm to improve critical customer-facing experiences across identity, access, authentication, and the digital dashboard used by more than 60 million of policyholders nationwide.

My work focused on reducing friction, clarifying complex insurance information, and making core account interactions easier to navigate and act on. Over several months, I refined key dashboard experiences, improved usability, and contributed to State Farm’s 1x Design System library to support consistency and scale across the platform.

The result was a more intuitive, customer-centered experience designed to support satisfaction, retention, and business performance.

CNN Business

CNN Money was rebranding as CNN Business, a shift from market coverage to a broader view of business, technology, work, culture, and power. The assignment was bigger than a new name. It was about helping the brand signal a new era: sharper, more modern, and more connected to how business affects everyday life. I helped develop launch creative that gave CNN Business a stronger visual presence and a more distinct identity within the CNN portfolio.

PACIFIC

A tech news franchise that started as a segment on CNN.com, expanded into a newsletter, and grew into a full social channel. The concept, creative direction, and key art were handled in-house. The work had to travel across formats — broadcast, email, Instagram, Facebook — and hold together as a recognizable brand across all of them.

Sr. Media Reporter Dylan Byers drove the editorial voice. Tom Coleman wrote copy. Michael Von Tonder handled animation. Yonathan Gebreyes led creative direction and key art design.
